Another day and another boat launch.....


Well this is Blyth 216 and it appears almost identical to Blyth215 which hasnt been seen on AIS now for 3 months.     This was the maiden launch but I didnt see any champagne bottles.

Wonderful capture DA.    Definitely looks like a twin of the one you previously posted.

It does seem very odd that Blyth215 hasn't been seen on AIS for 3 months.

You won’t believe this.   Yesterday after this was launched I checked 215 and it was still missing.  Today it’s just popped up in Newcastle.

Gave SHMBOd a bit of a laugh too.    Going to be organised and put a set of images all ready to upload to AIS as soon as it's listed so that I can be the first.   I was second for 215 last time and that annoyed me a lot.

The crane would also have lifted it onto the trailer at the factory which is a few miles away,  from what Ive seen on Facebook they crawl down the road to offload it and it causes chaos.

In the scheme of how much that boat is being sold for it's probably very little.

You might be on to something. Although I always wonder why those costs suddenly don't matter anymore.
Like when you buy a house and say (for example) it costs €500.000,- and then you don't mind spending € 1.000,- to have some stuff removed (sand or whatever) because it's nothing compared to the total sum.

While you don't go about spending that on a different occasion.

There seems to be a habit here where people buy a house and do lots to it to get what they want and then they never maintain anything until they move again.
