I am shooting gh4 and ronin-m. My results are good so far.

Nevertheless I was wondering how you guys handle filming with external monitor. The hdmi cable seem to put pressure on the gimbal. Also I am not sure how attach the cable along the gimbal, not to cause pressure and moving problems.

Get a thin cable, the ronin will handle the tension of the cables quite well. I got a paralinx cable (worlds thinnest hdmi cable) and use it with a A7s and Atomos Shogun with good results.

Just attach the cable to the handlebar with a velcro with a enough slack for the camera to move freely.

Thank you Paul.

I just got a HDMI Micro cable with angel that already helped. Is there a paralink cable with 90 degree angle for the HDMI Micro available?

Hi guys, are you using this cable? It's great, but I wish it had the right angle adapter >> http://www.hypershop.com/HyperThin/HTU08-BLACK.html

I had a hyperthin with right angle adapter, but it was for HDMI mini, not HDMI micro. Any leads? Thank you -George

Hi Sorry George, autocorrect got then name wrong, the brand is Paralinx not parallax.. BUT the the cable i got is indeed the cable you linked to.  I got shorter ones (45cm) and those where paralinx ultra thin cables. Which also is nice, but no way near as thin as the Hyperthin cables

I got the micro hdmi->Minihdmi and then got a simple adapter, simply because the full size hdmi was out of stock.

Hope this helps!

I got mine from Flyonix

No i don't think so, but to clarify the cable i use in this setup up is the Hyperthin cable and not Paralinx. ( I got it wrong)

The is no stress on the micro hdmi port due to the fact i got two relief points, first being the Movcam cages's hdmi lock. Second and more important for the way the cable is "directed" is the tether tools threaded jerkstopper i have mounted ot the side and top of the Movcam cage.

Not the best picture to illustrate it, since there is no cable in this shot but hopefully you get the idea.
