The Captians Table Restarunt and Lake Resort, was under renovation and I had taken some pictures of the progress one day . then a few weeks later when flying in the same spot I had noticed the Restarant part burned down , It was a iconic turist locations, so I hope that it can be restored back to its former glory. But it looked pretty burnt

anyway these were a few pics of it

Interesting photos.  You can really see how destructive the fire was from this perspective.

Wow that was a catastrophic fire.  I'm betting that is a complete tear down and total rebuild in looking at that damage.  

Great pics, but oh heck, what a mess. Major rebuild necessary there.

Sadly a lot of US news sites block access outside the country,  but at a guess Im thinking kitchen fire or arson.

so far though nothing has been done at the site.
My guess is looking at how bad it was burned, it will most likely need to be rebuilt from the ground up.

That is probably going to get expensive, unless the insurance pays.

Yeah absolutely.

this is an update to the captains table
it appears they are beginning the rebuilding process of recovery from the fire that burnt it down this summer
