DJI go app on my iPad will not connect to my phantom 3!

Anyone have advice?

iPad Air, iPad Air mini, iPhone 5s and iPad 2. All of them connected after the Go App was installed and never connected again!

I have a mutual feeling. His iPad is a Gen3. The Phantom APP is not compatible with this device. Gen 3 iPads don't have the GPS/RC to Aircraft communication (Hardware/software. I dont know which) that you need to run the aircraft properly.

I am confident there is a way DJI can make it work (they are really smart people), but for whatever reason, they chose not to.

I hate having to spend a few hundred dollars on a new iPad, but it seems like that will be the only option.
