I saw that one yes, but looked on the forum .
Yes, Resolve can solve this easily.
But you have to do it in 2 steps. First render the sped up footage as one file, then apply the stabilization.

I tried that process with FCPX and it wouldn't touch it,  I may have to reinstall resolve and have a another go.

How can you get confronted so often that you can create a channel about it?

I guess it depends on where you go making your little videos,  but one of the guys posts a video every day at 4pm with some sort of interaction,  not always drone related though.

OK,  Little update,  I loaded Resolve 18 and tried all three modes.   Unless Im doing it wrong none of them had any impact.

He tends to go to industrial estates and stand out side making a video on what he can see happening,  and usually within a minute or two security come out and start telling him what he can and cant do in public.  Sometimes he's antagonistic with them,  and will often say leave me along and go back to work which always winds them up.

Not all his videos are confrontational,  occasionally you get someone that comes out and does everything exactly right. usually making sure that he's not going to get run over etc.

I guess I'm a big biased with all the 'shouting' youtubers out there looking for as many views as possible.

I don't recall any changes in the stabilization part, so that should not make a difference.

You can get it even more stabilized with motion tracking, but that can get unnatural results (I have not tried it with this footage since that takes quite a bit of time, especially since I have to figure out how that works again).

Yes,  I press that button and then a popup appears that goes from 0 to 100% analysing.


If you watch the tower you can still see it moving left and right slightly,  perhaps I need to try motion tracking as you suggest.

As I said, completely static can feel unnatural to me, so I'm good with this.

With motion tracking you can get good results, but I would try the planar one, as there is also some 3d movement in the shot.
It uses the Fusion tab, and there is some work to it as I remember.
I have not tried this in a long time, so I would have to find some tutorials for stabilizing using planar tracking if I wanted to do this.

Last few days were 32+ Celsius but the humidity has been horrible.  Luckily today is cooler at 27.6c so far.

Ouch. That is similar to what we are getting here.
Tomorrow it should go down a bit and the day after even more.
I do like the summer feeling, but this is quite extreme.

Funny, I just wanted to ask you.
I noticed the update yesterday, but did not want to do it before flying.
Updating as we type.
It seems like it did not show up until I connected the drone.
But maybe I was just impatient.
