Hi again forum, i have a problem, i just bought a DJI mini 2 and the previous owner forgot to unbind the drome from their account and he applied to delete his account. What will happen with the drone, will i be able to bind it to my account or the drone will be stuck forever on his account. Ty for help.

Im sure one of the DJI mods can confirm this but there was a mention about this a while back and the answer was after some days of the account being deleted the drone would be automatically unbound from the account.

Hello, there. The cancellation will be completed within 3 weeks since the user submit the delete request.

If so what about unbinding the controller from the drone ?

Could you please tell us if you are the owner of the drone?
If so, you can contact our online support( support@dji.com) and report the deleted account, we will help you unbind the drone.
If you purchase it from private transactions/second-hand platform. You need to contact the seller then ask the previous owner to contact us to unbind the drone with this deleted account.

No I am not the owner of the drone, the question relates to any drone where this happens.
