The difference visually between the two is the RC2 has a built in screen and two adjustable antennas.  My question relates to the adjustable antennas.  Do they give a superior advantage to the RC2 over the RC2N in signal strength and distance?

Is it correct that the rc-n2 only works with the air3?

Yes, both the RC2 and RCN2 use OCUSYNC 4.0 only.  No other drone uses 4.0 except the Air3.

I've both RC and I can say that the RC2 seems to be more stable in environments with interferences. I tried to fly Mini 4 Pro with the RC2 and with the RC-N2 in the same urban scenario. With the RC-N2 I lost the signal at 200m. When using the RC2 the connection at that distance was good.

Good afternoon I was about 10 miles at sea filming my sailboat with the Air Mac 2 and
The transmission got lost. I knew the craft was hovering out there somewhere so I went and found it reconnected right when I got it near the boat it went haywire full speed and smashed into my antenna the ocean, so rather than just buying the air Mavic two drone itself I was thinking of going with the three with its own remote control so I don't have this problem when I'm at sea with range question mark

I have tried using both remotes with mini 4 pro and found no difference in range between the two ,I actually prefer the RCN2 with bigger and brighter tablet

Same here. I like the freedom with the RCN2. When I am mobile I using my iPhone and when I have more space I like to fly in combination with my iPad Air M2.

Second advantage for me is the 4G function/plan in my iPhone and IPad.so always online/up to date maps and…when flying with the dongel2 always connected. (I am using the 4G dongel2/air3)
