Nothing special:

P2P Blue
P2P V+ electric red (P3P strips)
P3P Pro Gold

Right now mine are Silver but they are virtually impossible to see when the drone is say 50' away. I'd rather have a nice dark color on the front of the drone to better see it's orientation when it's further away so I picked dark blue. I build my RC planes and jets and the best color for me at least are the Blue Angel colors when the craft is further away.

Only thing with a drone is that their bodies are so small it's hard to see anyway when they get a certain distance away.

So many lovely coloured bands, I had no idea...

I peeled the silver off of my Advanced and put the "red" stripes on.  I found it easier to see the red and for me red is the color bands for a DJI Phantom...

Gold....

Home made Red and Green reflex.
The pic doesent do them justice, they shine a easily spottable bright light
back from the tree tops when looking for them with a flashlight
(P2 on the testpic but I'm going this route from now on)
Dark Red is original P2, the others are navy reflex tape.

I just hand painted mine then pin stripped it using auto pin strip tape.

It's hard to believe the majority just sticks with gold. I immediately put the red ones on because I think they look dope and the gold just looks... kinda bad. I don't find it appealing and to me, it seems like an attempt to look refined that didn't really work out. It finally did work on the P4, but not on the P3.

running factory gold as of now,but was thinking of a new paint scheme.

The P 4 had no stripes, What are you saying?

Anyway, Gold is the standard for excellence.

The teacher gave Gold stars for top achievers, and Red to those who failed to impress.

Well, I was actually looking for posts about the stripes and didn't check the date.
Anyways, in terms of the P4 I meant that the attempt to look refined worked out, I was not talking about stripes at that point.

Also, I like to think that the "excellence" rating comes from the golden badge, not the stripes.

Most of us Phantom 3 Pro' Pilots will stick to the original Gold stripes, for posterity reasons.

I think they look sharp. But so do most other colors... It's always in the eye of the beholder.

I think the stripes (any color) look rather toyish.  They remind me of 70's era athletic socks.

Yes, white egg or brown, the yokes are always here. Hahaha
Don't crack under pressure, just keep "rolling" along.

As far as drone stripes, it adds a tiny little flavor to the stark white shell.i would like to buy a new she'll and RIT dye that bad boy, in a unique style... ;-)
