I don't currently have a use for the front screen.  I've found the Full Front Screen on/off toggle but the front screen remains on.

Can I turn it off permanently to save the battery?

Just to confirm,

I use my Action 4 as a travel cam.

I prefer the main screen to remain on continuously while recording but the front screen to remain off.

It’s a switch in the menu settings.
