I have a problem with my Air2s,  The RC won't connect, and after a number of tries, it connects and flies back to the same problem and the backlight stays on yellow.

-  I  updated firmware to latest( fly App, dron and RC)
- I used another phone and cables.  
- I cleaned the holes for the RC.
- Sometimes  The drone connects by itself and works, but usually, it does not connect, It embarrasses me at important moments, and it pushes me crazy.

Please I need help urgently.

Update/refresh the firmware of both aircraft and RC and check if the issue persists. If yes, please provide us a screenshot showing the firmware version of both aircraft and RC so we can check. Furthermore, you may refer to the tutorial link below (start at @2:20) on how to properly link the DJI Air 2s. Please keep us posted. Thank you.

Thank you for the information provided. Did you try to connect the aircraft to the DJI Assistant 2 software using your PC? If not, please try and check the firmware version showing on the software. You may also try to manually link the RC to the aircraft using the RC combination buttons (please refer to the tutorial above). Lastly, please confirm what specific mobile device are you using. Please let us know. Thank you.

Ahmed:  my first Air 2S did this intermittently, but I could usually get it to connect after 2-3 tries.  I almost decided to live with the inconvenience, but it was still under warranty so I returned for a new unit, and have never had the problem since.  I doubt that helps you, but FYI.

Yes, I did it from DJI Assistant 2 software using my PC, and I tried to manually link the RC to the aircraft using the RC combination buttons but that failed.

My mobile Samsung not20ultra and I tried many mobiles it didn't work and the problem still in all the phones I tried it.

Since you already did all the possible troubleshooting steps that could possibly rectify the issue, but the issue persists, I'm afraid that you may consider sending the unit (RC and aircraft) in for a proper diagnosis. You may contact our support team to start up a ticket at https://www.dji.com/support . Also, the warranty can be applied depending on the outcome of the damage assessment including the warranty period of your unit. Thank you for your understanding and support.

I'd try changing the  frequencies 5.8 to 2.4 or vice versa just to see what happens. Then go back to the original setting you had problems with. That might help you narrow it down.
