If you mean alter it to become another model then no. You could of course sell it and buy another model.

Upgrade = Spend more. Only way really!

Hello, there. Do you mean trade in the model and upgrade to a different one and pay the extra fee? If so, DJI does not support this service currently.

Yeah this is the only way to do it.

Except, supplies of Mini 2 have been pretty tight for a year, and it looks like it's been cancelled, after the Mini 3 came out, since it's similar featured.

I would not sell the 2 SE, due to the drone hacks angle. I would use the controller on a standalone Mini 3, which is pretty cheap.
