Does anyone know if Robomaster EP has obstacle detection?  

If the bot was programmed to follow a path but on a particular day it was obstructed, can it go round the obstacle and continue on its course.

Hi, rickwk2. Users can control the RoboMaster EP and obtain various sensor data by connecting it to a third-party computing device (e.g., Raspberry Pi or Jetson Nano) or using SDK on a PC. Based on the computing power of these devices, numerous AI applications can be developed, including facial recognition, facial expression recognition, voice recognition, semantic comprehension, and obstacle avoidance. You can install the ToF sensors (I think the EP comes with at least on in the box) and use that for obstacle avoidance. But you would need to program it yourself.

The ToF Idea is great but its kinda hard to apply it
