Here is an (attempted) brief description of my issues processing Zenmuse L1 data with poor RTK signal which I would be grateful of some guidance on The best way forward has been decided as post processing the data in order to allow Terra to reconstruct it, as currently it cannot do so using RTK alone. A list of the resources I have been using to develop a workflow are below: - Prodrones Asia – How to PPK process DJI Zenmuse L1 - How to PPK Process - YouTube
- DJI Forum user post regarding PPK https://forum.dji.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=285647&mobile=2
- Emlid Studio Kinematic Processing https://docs.emlid.com/emlid-studio/kinematic-processing-workflow/
- RTKLib with RTKPost and RTKConv https://rtklib.com/
Following point number 1, I attempted to replicate their workflow using RTKPost and RTKConv, however they gloss over a point which is crucial to me processing this data. The most important one to figure out is the conversion using RTKConv of the files stored by the drone to RINEX format. In the video he simply states he “converted the RTCM file to RINEX using RTKConv” and nothing more, does not show the inputs using this software and as such I do not know which of the files have been converted. There is no obvious “RTCM” file in the raw data which should be converted to RINEX (see below), perhaps it is right there in front of me and I do not recognise it?
The RTK file can be renamed to .OBS which is simple enough. But without the converted RTCM to RINEX I cannot post process the data using either Emlid or RTKPost. I have all the base station information at my disposal, and I have every file type I think I need within the raw data itself What am I missing here?
