Can you add adjustment level for internal mic? maybe simple like 1/2/3 ? (it need to look different then external mic)
now mic is too loud and sensitive :/ action 4 record every touch on selfiestick (like on gopro 6?), and normal sound peak to the max (red max lvl in davinci studio) too often

Hi, what's about 25fps in webcam mode and rtmp ? France and Eu TV channels wokflow are in 25p not in 30p. Thas is terrible when using osa4 for live streaming.

so this is like you se the heat for EU, and set the webcam for US, and se the livestream for both.   would camera companies survive just catering to one world

Hey DJI, love your products. Recently bought a ne Osmo Action 4 and have some questions. Mostly about UVC webcam mode for nowm cause i use this camera for livestreaming. Is it possible to add:
• 25 fps in UVC mode,
• ability to choose iso interval (like in regular mode 100 - 6400 for example),
• ability to choose sutter speed interval (for example 200 - 8000 etc),
• and auto turn off screen in webcam mode?

Those features would be very cool to have. Or are there some technical limitations to add those and it's impossible?

Are you updating the Action 4 the staff said Action 3

do tel them the actual firmwares on the camera with a photo shot, LESS the seriel number  prossible that DJI gave out   ones that are not updatable   as display models

New DJI Osmo Action 4 Firmware Released (11/23/2023) - All custom modes from C1 to C5 wiped out after update.

Please include custom setting backup feature in DJI MIMO app if possible. This allows the user to backup their settings and reinstall after a firmware update. Thank you!

Not sure if this is new but now normal color profile shows as 10bit. Previously only Dlog shows as 10bit. I'll have to check if gyro has been fixed but from what DJI is saying on the forum, gyro and horizon levelling is hardware limited and can't be fixed

I synced the remote controller and this has been updated as well, so I'm curious to see what improvements have been made.

I'm disappointed that some of my requests for readability improvements, such as smaller text and spacing, were not implemented.

Ability to shoot in 10-bit with normal color is a welcome change.

As mentioned above, the settings for C1 through C5 have all been reset.

As DJI edits the main topic and adds the  latest firmware this says its not a new firmware that is going to have any recent requests at all, it is going to be a fix of their mistakes made in the actual firmware last released,  you want what, that be  maybe on the OA5 to come  in 2024

Are both Normal and D-Log 10bit now or am I crazy? I think before the update just D-Log showed the 10bit yellow box, but now both have it.

And I take advantage and ask a question, is filming timelapse always normal color mode? I cant see if more options are avaiable... i ask this because Im a noob, and this means whereas I record a normal video I have to apply the LUT on Lightcut, I wont need it on timelapse videos

Check for firmware updates again.

If the video format is H264, it won't show up, which means it must be set to HEVC to support 10-bit.

Cant understand why they dont mentiont this things on patch notes...

Updating the firmware also erased all my settings of the camera.

Please add icon to the screen when Gyro is recorded. You believe that you have right settings and there is no gyro because one setting was not correct.

It won't show if you are using h.264.

Just FYI the update factory reset my Action 4 and I lost all 5 of my custom modes! Thankfully I have a video where I documented all my settings for best footage.

I disagree with the gyro issue being hardware-limited if the gyro records in all 6 axes.  There must be firmware adjustments that can be provided for this exact scenario.   If the unstabilized footage can be corrected in Gyroflow, then there is no reason it can't be done in (newer) firmware natively, when the problem has been identified.

We need to demand that DJI outlines what has changed in each firmware release and stop leaving it in that vague category of "various bug fixes".    Likewise, there should be a warning about losing custom settings after specific firmware updates.   I suspect what is happening is that there are incompatible combinations of settings between various firmware, and so DJI takes the safer route of wiping our custom presets so that we can only set the compatible combination of settings and not have issues.

They really don't care about us, about the customers... It's a really big shame because their products are really good, including drones etc but the support and their communication and transparency are 0... Sadly but in this way they will lose more and more customers if they keep saying "fixed some minor bugs"

That’s what they keep saying when people post about horizon balancing issues. Gyroflow cannot horizon stabalize footage from action 4 properly. (Horizon lock function)

They say it’s hardware limitations. Then I bust out my old hero8 and the horizon lock is crazy good in Gyroflow
Try the action4 and let me know how horizon lock is doing for you in gyroflow

Thank you for confirming that the issue is still not fixed in this firmware.  I could confirm the same when I did the same last night.   I still disagree with it being a hardware limitation.  It just means that the 6 axes aren't being recorded (in the camera correctly).   A workaround could applied if we knew the correct XYZ IMU calibrations settings to enter in GyroFlow.   We would have to work with the GyroFlow team instead to show them the "problem" with sample footage, and they play around and provide the result or profile to fix it.
