What  Just happened here are we with New FIrmware 10-18  and no a new thread.. WTF is on the new firmware exactly before we  download unwanted stuff

1. di you take off the DIMMING of the screen. or correct it
2. did you  add what we already have PRE recorded

Isn't it obvious Fish, they
Optimized stability for Wi-Fi livestream.
Fixed some minor bugs.
What a joke. Even Apple is doing better with what they changed with new iOS/MacOS/iPadOS etc.... We get virtually no information to decide if it's an update we want or not.

Yes sir, you and me both. I'll wait on the next one. On a postive note, the GPS bluetooth remote controller for the OA4 and the 100w charger came in stock. I already found a suitable charger that charges my drones battery hub on fast charge and ordered the GPS bluetooth remote controller yesterday when it came in stock. I think the GPS remote controller will be a fun little accessory.

yes its all fun, personally for me do not have a use for gps, or the Rc but  lets hope its a good firmware that no one will complain over, the least DJI does is offer unNoticed updates

I can't update my "Action 4" to the last version mentionet on this thread.
I have version 90.00.00.10 and when I connect to the app there is no way to update it. No notification.

You need to download it onto the Mimo app first.  Try connecting your OA4 to the Mimo app.  Disconnect.  Then just lauch the Mimo app.  You should get notification of firmware download to Mimo app.  When you next connect OA4 to the app you will be asked if you wan to install the latest firmware

I am unable to install this update. It gets to 50% and says it failed. Just received the camera today so pretty frustrating.EDIT: Turned the VPN off of phone and it worked

Settings lost when firmware is updated

Jitter in video while walking still not addressed, jitter visible present in shutter speeds below 1/200 while taking steps in walking. Due to this not able to shoot in low light scenarios, please fix as you market this to be a better low light action cam.

Also please make wide and ultra wide mode available in pro settings while horizon lock is on

DJ will request a video of proof of the issues, also write down the exac settings its happening so others can  demo it.  

Also its a reminder to write your settings down then lose it with DJI

The upload to a windows PC not yet solved, exactly the same problem.
Fortmat SD in Action 4, make recordings --> upload to PC without problems, disconnect from PC and make new recording, connect to PC --> filesystem not recognised, you must format the SD card.
But after chkdks /f the SD card is visible again and then I can download the files.

The Action 4 makes the boot region corrupt, chkdsk /F repairs that.

C:\Windows\System32>chkdsk o: /F
The type of the file system is exFAT.
Volume Serial Number is 8424-8CA5
Corruption was found while examining the boot region.
Windows is verifying files and folders...
Volume label is SD_Card.
File and folder verification is complete.

Windows has made corrections to the file system.
No further action is required.

123469952 KB total disk space.
    147968 KB in 19 files.
      1024 KB in 8 indexes.
         0 KB in bad sectors.
       256 KB in use by the system.
123320704 KB available on disk.

    131072 bytes in each allocation unit.
    964609 total allocation units on disk.
    963443 allocation units available on disk.

After repairing the boot region the Action 4 works as intended. You can make recordings and upload them, record again and upload again, no errors.
DJI please fix this.

Why would high wind noise reduction only work in 1080p? Doesn't really make much sense as to why it's resolution limited

It requires extra processing power from what I recall reading somewhere, hence the 1080p limitation (in a similar way full 360* horizon lock is only available in 2.7K and below.

When Windows formats file system it has its own things for it even if the file system is the same standard.

When device like OA4 formats the card it can write own hidden data to the SD card that is not recognized in Windows and Windows also may think the file format ei faulty even if its not.

I have seen this many times and that's why I always recommend to format card using the device where card is. These changes in sd card can be found using proper software using Linux. Also in windows maybe.

Just some months ago I had device that used FAT32 file system. If I formatted it in the Windows that did not work in the camera. If I formatted the card in the camera (fat32) it worked in the camera but Windows found "problem" in the card.

Just a thing to take in to the consideration.

So you opened the Mimo app; you go to Profile on the lower rightof the mobile phone, then look at the cog gear on the Upper right and click.  

1. Mobile network is switched on
2 and what does  the next one say Auto firmware download via wifi. is htat switched on

per the camera its  must be on while the app is  working. to load firmware.

It turned out that the camera in the factory packaging was activated even before the date of its purchase by me. At startup, the camera did not require activation. According to specialists, the FW V90.00.0010 installed in the camera is unusual and may be a test. There are also posts on the forum when users with such a firmware do not receive updates.

Yes. This is absolutely horrible. It's as bad as on my OA1... -.-

Can you add adjustment level for internal mic? maybe simple like 1/2/3 ? (it need to look different then external mic)
now mic is too loud and sensitive :/ action 4 record every touch on selfiestick (like on gopro 6?), and normal sound peak to the max (red max lvl in davinci studio) too often

If we are allowed to use the Pro mode  and  use the  gain, that be  what I have asked early on

Hi, what's about 25fps in webcam mode and rtmp ? France and Eu TV channels wokflow are in 25p not in 30p. Thas is terrible when using osa4 for live streaming.
