Wish this video was on here before i did mine, but even without the video i was able to do it on my own, its tricky but doable.
And here is a video of me using it with my portable HDMI monitor, come to find out its not usable in the sun, might be better with FPV goggles.
This FPV board makes it a lot better looking than on the GO app and no lag, and when it starts to cut out with no signal the hdmi output goes out less than the FPV on the tablet and comes back on faster than the tablet FPV, its a great board.
where can I have this installed? I need to get a hdmi feed from my phantom three professional...it is a huge disappointment without it and the YouTube feed is not very good
i have two questions
1. does this solve the lag problem ? if i use hdmi does it make the video feedback all fluid all the time or should i expect lag again from time to time ?
2. where can we get some dji tshirt ?
Aloha Tim, the HDMI module installation looks straightforward, but I am concerned about the cable connecting the module to my tablet. My tablet only has a micro-USB port. Do you know of a HDMI to Micro-USB adapter cable that could be used? Any idea about how the performance is when such an adapter is used? Mahalo for any help!
Aloha
I installed this module this morning, did a test flight but the drone seemed to "drift" and seemed to be unstable. I landed the drone, re-inserted the larger ribbon cable made sure the clamp was down and now the drone is back to normal. Has anyone else had this after installing the HDMI Module?
What the hell is a "1.5 mm rocket screwdriver"??? Never heard of a "rocket screwdriver" before. I got my module today and it is frustrating not being able to install it because of some weird screwhead. Tried regular & Philipshead screwdrivers, as well as Allen wrenches, and nada. So where can I get whatever this "rocket screwdriver" is???
