I've recently recorded with the OSMO ACTION 4 and I'm having weird distortion in my DLOG-M footage, this plays fine on the camera itself and also plays fine on video players such as VLC media player on my PC however in Davinci Resolve it has this weird distortion effect every so often in the clips I'm colour grading, any help would be much appreciated

Thanks and hopefully someone has a solution for this problem.

Hello, there. Sorry for the inconvenience. If the video can be played normally on VLC but has issues in Davinci Resolve, it indicates the video and camera are normal. You are advised to check whether the format of the video is incompatible with the Davinci Resolve.

I've used a video converter of the original DJI files and converted them and found the distortion and purple colouring are no longer present in Davinci Resolve once doing this, seems a work around for now

Hi. I found an article on how to convert Osmo Action 4 videos into DaVinci Resolve supported editing formats by using Acrok video converter software, hoping it can be useful. There are detailed steps in the article.

I'm currently using Handbreak to convert the videos, the only converter I've found that works and is free, hope this helps.
