This is along the St. Lawrence river. There are close to 2,000 individual islands., which gives you lots of great views.

That makes for an amazing area for sure.  No doubt lots of history in that area dating back to the arrival of the early colonists.

That's their claim to fame. Boldt Castle and Thousand Island Dressing. A hotel owner's wife came up with it to maketheir dinners special.
