4: Update log TXT files (inclusing one in the hidden /MISC/LOG folder).

Maybe it should be noted that everyone should remove props before attempting this update sitting in front of you...!? (they should always be removed while updating, imo.)

I wonder what the update does to the motor?
I wonder which of the 4 motors it affects?

You will hear the startup noise 4 time during update, this is the ESC's being updated.

Don't have precise details for what was the reason for the update.. I would likely think its to do with the new features.. Maybe new code to handle the intelligent navigation feature..

i have to say, this is the 1st update that i am a bit weary of being the first to jump on. i have done every other without hesitation/ regret/ problems. mine has flown perfectly since day 1 throughout all of the upgrades.


hmmmm, what to do. if only i had 2 P3's...

But FW that can be downloaded is 1.4.0010 only. is it a typo? or we should wait for the new FW?

I think I did everything, FYI I have iOS.  Problem for me is I don't know where to go to use the new features, waypoint, point of interested, etc.  I did just fly it for 5 min to make sure everything seemed fine, and yes it did.

Hey guys.  I upgraded in 13 minutes, no issues!  Question:  After my upgrade I put in second battery thinking all my batteries needing it as well.  When I fired up it did not chirp at all.  So conclusion:  This does not update the batteries either, anyone confirm?

Excellent work Sploodge this seems to be longest bios update my bird has done charge those battery's peeps before attempting.Actually it must of taken about 15 mins or so but it seems like a lifetime man I stress out doing bios updates I wish there was a bios redundancy built in to the bird.

One thing I did notice the new android app wiped my RTH height  settings also had to adjust max height limit and confirm some FAA crapp that's not applicable here in AUS and re enable multiple flight mode.

Thanks Sploodge.
FW updated just fine.
But now IMU cal is stuck (it is more than 5min that the bar shows 20%).
P3P is on flat surface and (was) cool, but I put iphone in airplane mode WHILE I was performing IMU cal. Don't know if this lead to the cal stucking.
Also, bar stuck at 20%, but the message showing "IMU calibration is in progress, please wait" is there..
What to do?

After long blinking upgrade I got solid red gimbal status led and continuos beeping, after reboot it seems ok
The txt file told me that upgrade to 1.04.0010 is failed

But in the next records of txt file it told that the firmware in the sd card is the same or older  

Now the the app tell me the I have the right version of firmware, but in the txt file i never get success

What do you think ? I'm ready to fly??
