I'm bummed...Just purchased a Phantom 3 PRO yesterday. It came to my attention today that the app is not working with Iphones or Samsungs. Just wanted to let you guys know for those planning on flying.
what do you mean? are you stuck at the CONNECT YOUR CRAFT screen or is it just not launching at all?
Also you will need a samsung 5 or an iphone 5s or higher for this
The app is not working at all for iPhones and Samsung units right now. DJI knows about it. The app will open, but it won't connect your iPhone or Samsung. Just stuck at the "how to connect" screen. And yes I have a Iphone 6 PLUS

i dont know what u r talking about man, dji is aware that the app is not working with iphone or samsungs??? where do u get that info from?
i have been usin iphone 6+ for ever, samsungs for ever!! as millions of others too.
what problem r u having exactly:

Oh maybe that could be it...They did not tell me that though. What a bummer for new guys that just bought this thing....My bad, I thought it was not working for everyone from the way it sounded.
I just upgraded from the P2V to the P3A. Came in the mail today, Took me about 45 minutes to do the firmware update (yes I know the new one is out in a few days). Took me 4 minutes to calibrate. App worked fine the entire way through. Logged 2 flights. Zero issues.
