At first glance I thought it was a manger for the cows to feed from, of the portable kind, which farmers set in the fields with bales of sileage in them.  But it's too big, has a slate roof, and a cross on top.  SO I've discounted that theory immediately.

Something funny happened to me yesterday,  I was flying by the water in a usual spot,  and I guy came over and loudly said,   are you flying a drone.  Initially I thought here we go,  but then realised he had hearing aids which I thought might account for the shouting voice.

Anyway, I said yes and he said was I on instagram,  I said yes and offered him a card. He said I already follow you,  you take the shots of Hadleigh Castle.,  your daffles drone.   I gave him a card and he checked and he was following after all and had been for some while.     Made me laugh how it made my IG name into a word though,  which I only realised afterwards.  

So in short,  I met a fan.

PS.   Not Maldon.

Ok.  I already gave Depp a clue but here’s one more.    It was built to spy on the neighbours.

And it’s not that close to me.  At least 2 hours away.
