What Is the best camera drone capable of shooting pro-quality video and photos for beginners /new owners? I just miss the comparison to the Mini 3 Pro, it mostly mentions the Min 3 ! And since when does the Mini 4 pro have a 4 minutes shorter flight time compared to the Mini 3 Pro ? In terms of technical data, according to DJI, both are identical. The comparison pictures and video recordings are also too short to analyze a comparison in peace. What I do not like at all, that suddenly the Mini 3 Pro no longer gets so much attention and is also listed on the DJI website at once behind the Mini 3. Means that the Mini 4 Pro is now favored and the Mini 3 Pro appears virtually discarded.

There is 4 min difference on paper between Mini 3 and Mini 4 Pro with the standard battery

Mini 4 Pro is a replacement for Mini 3 Pro, and this is not an upgrade video. That said, I will be doing this later as I have the data for it at the exact locations and for the Mini 2..

Personally, as a Part 107 pilot I think the zoom camera, and the extra wind resistance, make the Air 3 the better buy.  However, for a newbie I'd agree the Mini 3 Pro or Mini 4 Pro is a great beginner drone.

I was and am still very interested in the Air 3 BUT the volume and the much higher weight let me but rather first stay with the Mini 3 Pro and possibly if the M4P is more flawless also upgrade there OR maybe still have the patience for a Mini 5 Pro or a model in the class which has a new name. Who knows what DJI has there in the drawer.

The Air 3 is a phenomenal drone.  However, for flyers outside the US where the weight restrictions really hit hard either the Mini 3 Pro or Mini 4 Pro are both really great drones.  I think that the Mini 4 Pro is really a Mini Air 3 with the features and functions that it offers.  However, my Mini 3 Pro still performs exceptionally well so I'll be hanging on to it until at least the Mini 5 Pro comes out.

The Air 3 has the potential to take even higher quality photos than the 4/3 sensors on the Mavic 3 Pro! DJI just needs to make a simple Firmware change and it's done. If they do that Air 3 would by far be a groundbreaking drone and extremely versatile. The great news is it can be that now if you want to do it manually.

It’s hard to argue with the DJI Mini 3 Pro as the camera drone of the year.  With a good camera most of the features of the bigger drones, it really is the first great Mini drone. Thanks sharing Kelly.

Is this a trick question.  The best drone is the one that you have with you.

The question we continue to ask is: WHEN will the goggles (any version) be compatible with a stick type controller NOT the Motion Controller on the Mini or Mavic series? DJI keeps pushing the MC for whatever reason. I hope they, at some point realize they are missing a marketing opportunity if they were to do this. We just purchased several Autel drones and the LIVE DECK and would have rather gone DJI, but not without the goggles compatibility DJI is not an option for us right now.

For a new guy, my combo is mini3 pro and Mavic 3 classic. This combo can be used in any situation.

I like Mini 4 Pro, it’s just so portable and versatile, it’s an all rounder for beginners and professionals.

Why all use aspect ration on photo 16:9? U should always use 4:3 ration. Because of sensor size, you will always lose megapixel at aspect ration 16:9, and you can also always crop 4:3 to 16:9 without losing megapixel. I'm speaking just for these drone in videos.

For me, my first sub-£$1,000 drone, the Autel Evo v1, had the best small-sensor camera (or at least the best algorithms) - but my Mini 3 Pro and now Mini 4 Pro are hugely superior drones…with very good cameras. I just wish that DJI would buy Autel and find out how their Evo v1 camera produced such extraordinary image quality for its sensor size.
