Any help is appreciated.

   Downloaded the air 2 firmware for RID and it shows the correct firmware update but, there is no RID serial number. I have the smart controller and updated the firmware for that also. Does anyone have any ideas? I also refreshed the firmware after install and still nothing. Am I missing something? RC firmware is 01.01.0072. Aircraft firmware is 01.01.1600. Any help is appreciated. Updated through DJI assistant 2.

It seems that the Smart Controller is NOT remote ID compliant.  This was confirmed in a video by the Pilot Institute.  Go to 6:36 on the below video.  

I have the same issue yesterday. The RID appears after the Fly App update in the Smart Controller. Check your Fly App version.
