Any teardown or idea on what chip does the Mini 4 pro uses? Seems like a big jump to be able to handle HDR 4k while doing focus track, 4k 100fps, and omnidirectional obstacle avoidance, all while keeping the heat at bay without a fan, this must be a huge jump in nanometer and chip technology from the mini 3. Just curious of any info on the chipset or teardown that reveal more...!

The thermal paste heatsink and atmosphere air flow do a good job at keeping things cool. Ventilation is the key. Usually those with none run a centrifugal style blower.

Hmm maybe not for that drone but a few older ones have videos out. Guess it’s just time to wait and see.

Oh yeah, even the Mini 3 Pro, its still early days yet i think for the Mi4P

Remember as much as a fan does help once its moving velocity takes over to where a fan can’t produce enough force to cool SOC. It’s mostly for cinematic movement. Once you’re going over 10 mph the vents take over at cooling. Also the thermal puddy used is really good grade. Even a repast isn’t needed.
Also fans create dust which if you don’t clean will be bad news down the line.
