Looks almost wintry, that one.

Wide open space.  Where I live, It`s beach then mountains and trees.  Almost no open space.
Does look like winter.

It feels winter is here,   especially where we are at the moment,    very grey and most of the leaves and bracken are now dead.

Depends which way I go clackers East to west there is this lovey strip of green belt land,   north or south and its just house after house.....

We dodged the worst of the rain yesterday,  but my second flight around one place was aborted due to the weather beginning to close in,  again we have woken up in a cloud,   I just read its caused by weather coming off the Atlantic find these hills first.

The hills around here tear the bottom out of any cloud and deposit the rain on us - as it is again this morning. And I'm supposed to be leading a U3A walk around Marple at 10h30.
I'm betting most of them will cry off.

You need some golf umbrellas if it's not too windy,    rain here will clear later to strong winds.    But then thats the last of the rain for a week or so they say.

Our forecast too is for an improvement next week. I'm not an umbrella type of guy

U3A - never heard that term used before.  However, I did look it up in my British to American translator and figured it out.

After a little more goggling I found out there is a U3A locally.  Interesting adaptation they have put on the U3A logo.

Agreed.  Could be cause for some legal action based on patent infringement.  Just kidding, trying to inject some levity into the day.  

Very cloudy here today with rain again forecast for most of the day.  Too bad I'm not a duck.  Anyway, today is Day 2 of the pistol tournament that I'm attending up in Orlando.  It's an indoor event so I'll only get wet going to and from the hotel and the range building.

Did you see the specs for the Pocket 3?  1-inch camera sensor, 4K video at 120 fps, 10-bit D-Log M color mode, 2-inch rotatable display, ActiveTrack 6.0 technology, and three built-in microphones for stereo audio recording.  Huge upgrade over the Pocket 2  Seems it will release Oct. 25th.

I shall have to give that some consideration. But it may be getting to the point of being a bit bulky to be called a "Pocket".

I'm waiting for the official release of the specs.  Knowing the exact size and weight will also play into my buying decision.  However, the 1" sensor is really appealing as a starter.

Not bad,  the weather could have been better but at least it was mostly dry,   just got some shots with a nice rainbow in it so fingers crossed they come out ok.
