Could well be that indeed.   Clear skies here yesterday when we returned and we found out there is a TV mast on the local hill now that we can see the hill.

Just put the drone up from the garden for a look.  Sun is not up over the hill yet - even at 115m AG.

No but I might have to have a flight around it before we leave.      Suns just coming up here now.

Second launch with the same battery - almost fully light here but the sun hasn't popped over the hill yet.
I'm perished. Time for a hot drink.

Im on the local coffee but Its not great,  and not very strong,  4 scoops in the cafetiere to make it barely drinkable.

Hope you weather has cleared up some since yesterday.  No rain here today but very gusty winds so going to spend the day in my "shop" building that wireless tool holder.

Visited an interesting location yesterday only to find that I was on the edge of the airports NFZ which was very annoying as they had gone to town,  rather than the usual bow tie this one was like a Christmas star decoration.

Im not much of a drawer,  apart from technical drawings but I have an urge to try some more abstract oil and water colours.    And having been in a few more galleries this last couple of months some of my abstract ideas seem to be valid.   

Ive ordered a pack of oil paints,  and a pack of water colours,  gone for the tubes rather than the solids.   Oil spatulars are on the way from China as they were very cheap and Im not in a rush.    Ive even watched a few tutorials for oil painting.

Im quite interesting in try water colour stencils,  and I can make my own stencils on the laser cutter.

But my long term goal is to use the drone to capture a shot then recreate it as an abstract painting.  

Ive also seen a framing technique for a free standing frame which I can make work with small paintings which is where I want to start,  may be 3 inch square.

Thanks,    I may try a few abstracts from my drone shots,  and call it mix media.    In other news the local city twitter just did a feature of the art gallery exhibition and my photo was in theirs.

No,   but the noise reduction I put the image through made it a bit smooth/soft.

You should have a look at a site called the virtual instructor.  They have every art medium you can think of.
if you sign up for their mail list, they often offer one month for free.
