Lovely Morning Capture

What a lovely view for first thing in a morning.  Great capture DA.    I'm hoping I get to eventually see the sun here today.  Very cloudy day with rain again in the forecast.

I managed one flight at the first destination but it was so windy the panos I wanted couldnt complete,  at the second location I was supposed to climb down a cliff to get to a wreck but as we had rain over night the place was a river and there was no way I was getting down it and back up safely,  I launched the drone,  watched it hover for a moment and then plucked it out the air with a flip and put it away.    The gully in the cliff was funnelling the wind up and there was no chance Id get a stable shot from it.  Hoping tomorrow is better as  I put off the main event today on the hope of better wind in the morning,    sadly another 1.5 hour drive to get there again.   700 miles clocked up so far and that doesn't include getting home.

Dang, sounds like that could have been a great target of opportunity but the weather foiled that.

And yesterdays spot was foiled with being on the edge of a NFZ for an airport, even though dropping over the side of a cliff would have no impact on the airport.

Yeah, it seems they don't take things like that into account when setting NFZs.

Im a big fan of the sheltered operations concept.    No reason a NFZ should stop me flying my fpv around a wood land near an airport.

If a private or commercial plane is flying that low in a woodland then they are already in trouble.  Some of the rules make absolutely no sense at all.
