You're very welcome DA.  Believe it or not it got a teeny bit cool here today.  The high only reached 26C. Still much better than most of the northeastern states that only say a high off 12C.  

So today was a t-shirt, shorts and sandals day but I did put on a lightweight wind breaker.

It was a wild trip,   several roads closed by the coastguard,    we then turned in land and watched a limb of a tree fall in the road just in front of us,   10 seconds sooner and it would have hit the car.    Then we found dense fog but still had the wind which was weird,   after that the last 150 miles were just rain.    And now it looks like I'll be washing the car in the rain.

Yes the red car looks like Ive been off road rally driving in it,    giving it back later with an additional 1350 miles on the clock.

I'm sure the fire took away a bit of the chill and also helped get rid of some mail without having to shred it.

More rain here today,    was supposed to be dry today but the forecaster got that wrong again,   I will pop the drone in the car just in case though,   you never know.

I saw on one of the "where am I" threads that you were having less than favorable weather.  However, it appears Mr. B is getting some nicer weather, at least for the weekend.

I'm still fighting off the flu and this runny nose is irritating to say the least.

I think he's been battered by the wind too,    trees down in the goyt he told me earlier.

Part of the issue is the amount of rain it dropped in such a short time which has taken time to flow through the river system and people keep getting caught out by the storm waters.
