Yeah, unfortunately summer weather at your location is long gone.  No doubt you'll still get some good walks and flights in despite the weather.

Im hoping,   but the weather so far has not been on the same page,    and doesn't look like it will pick up for at least 5 days yet.

Hoping that the forecast hold here today and the sun comes out,   will take a run up the coast for some boat chasing in a nice quiet spot where we wont see any people.

It was a disaster really,      got to the spot and just 2 minutes of getting there a coach load of foreign people turned up,  so we left.   But I did find a good sized piece of clay smoking pipe,  just a shame it wasnt intact like these - https://www.beachcombingmagazine ... -the-art-of-smoking

Ive only recently managed to find a couple of bits of the clay pipe,  no bowls yet though.   Along that beach though is all sorts and interestingly a huge amount of decomposed batteries.

Lots of landfill sites in this area are slowly being converted to nature reserves,  but there are still plenty of victorian dumps which were much smaller and most towns had one which are still causing issues,   the local one here used to catch on fire underground at least once a year,    really dangerous for the fire services as it greats voids underground,  so now the whole area is fenced off to keep people out.

For some reason Ive noticed that someone cleared a tunnel though some bushes to bypass the fence,   but having been in and investigated I cant see why they bothered.  

Amazing how different waterways channels show up.

Based on the amount of footprints around my deer feeder it appears I have at least 4-5 deers feeding there now.  Unfortunately, I think I've had a wild boar show up on the west side of my property as lots of scrub bushes are trampled down and lots of boar foot prints in that area.  Good think I know a person that can come in and trap that varmint.

Wild boar in Europe is really sort after and has a big hunting following,    could you not sell access to hunters to your land for them.

I probably could but then they would be trying to poach my friendly deer or turkeys also.
