Tappan Zee Bridge, now called The Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, which is way too long. By the time you read the sign you are over the bridge.

The aerial shots are stunning, and it's like taking a mini-vacation from the comfort of my screen. Great work capturing the beauty of this iconic bridge from a whole new perspective!

I love to see a lot of the old architectural styles but I'm always open to new modern style as well.

There's a place for everything. In NY we are going through replacement of many of the old style bridges. It's a welcome change. We need to handle much more traffic than we did 100 years ago.

No doubt about that.  I've never had to drive in NY but have taken many a crazy taxi ride.  They remind me of the taxi drivers in Naples, Italy.  They drive with one hand on the steering wheel and the other hand on the horn.

Got to admit that they always got me to where I needed to be in the shortest amount of time.  Good to be retired and no longer have to be anywhere at any particular time anymore.

Lower down on the Hudson it's federally prohibited to fly near the bridges.  Here it's ok so I took some more footage. It was fun.

Inconsistent regulations are an irritation, I'm sure.  But you got the best from the authorised area

They are but as you get closer to NYC there are many more helicopters and private planes along the river.  With so many unlicensed pilots, I can understand it. But those are usaully the ones breaking the rules.

It doesn't matter how much legislation is brought to bear, there will always be those prepared to disregard it.  Just makes it harder for the rest of us.
