Well I'm ruling out two possibilities, as I doubt you got as far as Guernsey on your last jaunt
The Petit Port steps and Rossaire steps.
I'm looking more Bristol Channel area.

We did go to Newquay but we didnt get out of the car due to the weather.

They did look very steep,  but the gate on their looks well maintained so I think they are used frequently.

No this is definitely a cool sight. Probably somewhere at the same coast of Weston and Burnham, maybe closer to Devon?

Looking at the photo - there's a picnic table and umbrella near the top, and another walled-off garden adjacent.  I'm wondering if this is the bolt-hole you found for your week's stay?

Sadly not,    but to give you a clue,   this is next to a castle which has a view of another castle.

Hmn That would seem to narrow it down to St.Mawes and Pendennis castles.  The only two I can find in the SW that have line-of-sight on eachother. AND are on the coast.
Here, perhaps?

I'd already discounted Tintagel and Boscastle (almost 50 miles from Falmouth)
And Padstow doesn't seem to have any castles - but it does have Rick Stein

Some say Rick Stein owns padstow.   Id think of somewhere smaller.

We started watching Richard Hammonds beautiful rivers last night,  some very average drone footage but the story of the first river he covered was quite interesting.  worth a watch if you see it.

Yeah, either of those thrown into the mix would make it much more difficult to get up those steep steps.

I flew over the golf course this morning with the new big strobe fitted and Im just waiting to see a post on Facebook asking if anyone saw the lights at rush hour this morning.

How big is the new strobe?  Be careful so that doesn't put you over the 249G mark.

Both my strobes put me over 249g,   not that it matters as I only use them when I fly in rural locations.

Dang, that clear one must put off a good amount of lumens.  

I saw a video where a guy mounted a micro-mini tactical flashlight that had 9,000 lumens under his Mavic 3 Classic with an adapter he 3D printed.  It was like a flying spotlight.
