A disappointing shot....


Every week from now until Christmas the city puts on a free fireworks display at the weekends,    during the show they put a NFZ in place that overlaps the airport so its quite tricky to film now,  so I thought Id get a sneak peak of the setup they use to fire the fireworks from.

Sadly they keep it well covered,  but this is my first fireworks barge.

Yes,    What I need to do is go to the far side of the pier and then the flight restrictions are gone completely.

What's one of those,  it's been so long.  . Yellow warning for rain in place I see overnight Saturday into Sunday.

Ive stopped looking at the long term forecasts as they just keep letting me down.  At least I confirmed my water proof walking jacket is still water proof.

Nice capture.    The fireworks show should prove a great opportunity to test out the low light capabilities of the OP3.

That was part of the plan but Ive found you cant use the zoom in the Timelapse or motion lapse.

I didn't know that until I read your post.  That should be something they fix in a future update.  Also, I'd love to have 360 on the OP3 vice just 180.

I find the pano modes a bit lacking at the moment,  hoping that gets an improvement down the road.

Like most of the DJI products they usually drop a big update after launch so let's hope this is the case here.

I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that happens for the OP3 also.

So far I'm really happy with how long the batter is lasting.  Of course, with the battery handle it shouldn't be an issue and I can always carry a power bank with me if needed.

With my 65W DJI Charger that I bought for the Air 3 I can charge the OP3 in about 20 mins.

I was a bit surprised the first time I charged it.  I was like dang, that was fast.

Now that must have been a nice show!

It wasnt bad for free to watch with the drone.    Apart from the kid with the lasers.  But after killing my lights and strobe they couldn't find it again.
