Just a lovely view down the Pier.....


With a day that started wet and wild, then windy it finally cleared to a rather nice late afternoon,  some blue skies and sun only to give way to the rain this morning.

It's the longest pleasure pier in the world.  Just over a mile long.

The rain has stopped here but it's still 100% cloud cover.

Im going to need a really long poll to so that with the pocket 3.    If there was only some way to get some altitude for it.

Oh yes the drone,   I totally forgot about mine.  Im all pocket 3 focussed at the moment.    Im now wondering how these pocket devices hold up to filming in the rain.

I've used my pocket2 in the rain a number of times. No ill-effects so far.

It was probably too wet for it at Teignmouth where the coast guard had closed the roads due to the waves coming over the road and hitting the shops.   It was the first time I was pleased to have replaced the weather seals on my DSLR 70-200 lens as when I got back to the car I was soaked.

I was just going through some of the photos and its like they were taken through a mist filter it was so bad.

Yep and you have to wonder about a 'mile long pleasure pier' . Nope not unless you can ride.

It's not too bad but the floor is a little uneven which might cause some issues in that scenario.

We've just got back from morning out. Missed buses, closed cafés, third time lucky but only a mediocre lunch. And no droning or even Pocket/Action footage to report.  Dull and occasional drizzle.

That's a place for hiking and fishing!!!! Where it's located?

wow yet that would be a long one.   People comes from all around the place to visit this one as it's the longest pleasure pier in the world,  at least until someone one saudi decides they want it.
