Pigeons are the worst for that. They will circle around you constantly - and they don't make a sound. Unlike the crows and jackdaws which caw continuously.

Definitely not!

Best to climb quickly to avoid them,  birds cant climb as fast as the drone.

It's always surprising when a flock of birds show up unexpectedly.  I had a hawk that used to nest on my property and was very aggressive.  Most of the birds seem to be more inquisitive than aggressive, but it only takes that one to bring down a drone.
