Hi everyone,

I'm curious about the difference in date and time settings between the Osmo Pocket 3 and the Osmo Action 4. The Action 4 allows you to set the date and time directly on the camera, while the Pocket 3 relies on syncing with a phone app.
I was wondering if there's a specific reason for this design choice.  For standalone use, it can be inconvenient to rely on a phone for setting the time.
Is there any chance we might see a future firmware update that allows manual date and time setting on the Osmo Pocket 3?

Hey, thanks for the update! Now there are new resolutions for the webcam mode such as 4k 30/60 FPS. But there is no 1080p 60fps mode. There is still only 1080p 30 fps mode available. Is it a bug?

I’ve been writing about this error for 5 months now, I already want to sell the camera, the 2nd update didn’t fix it, I also see 4k 30 and 60 (but with a delay) and 1080 30, 60 in 1080 frames are not available in any obs capture program and all the others... It would also be very nice to see a 2.7k 30\60 mode for the webcam, because 4k is unnecessary for many, and 1080 is weak

The manufacturer promised me 60 frames in 1080 in the firmware 5 months ago in webcam mode - it turns out I was deceived and did not receive any answer from him. And I get a 4k 60 icon in obs but with a delay, I’m just reminding you that the 1080 mode does not work in 60

I hear ya,  they simply taken the  request, and All they Did. Sorry for my Ignorance but there are more important concerns and  this may be Important to you as well others, but Not DJI.

When will be option on camera "Lock focus and exposure" by tapping and holding the screen. Super important option!
Now this can be done only by Mimo app what is very uncomfortable using camera, phone, stick, maybe walking on stairs. And yellow option is not visible on the phone. Forget about using it on the phone - this is useless. I want to use only camera, not the phone.

пару дней назад проверял на новой майской прошивке. Нормально работают 1080р/60 и 4к/30 в том числе и с актив-треком. Проверял в OBS.

That's right, I found 4k 60 FPS in webcam mode in OBS but it works with lags.
No 1080p 60FPS in H264 only 30 FPS

what operating system do you have? In the camera itself it says that it supposedly has 1080 60, but in OS Windows there is clearly no 60 frames of smoothness, only 30, but I heard that on a Mac there are 60 real fps in OS

I have this 700.00 gimble cam, why should I have to go buy a 400.00 gimble web cam? I have 4x DJI cams 3x Osmo Action 4's and a pocket 3. I shouldn't have to go buy web cams........at least this is my thinking

I shopuld be able to plug my DJI Air 3 in and use it as a web cam tooo LOL

I rounded up, the OBSBOT runs about 360.00 remote control 4k 30, then there is the Insta 360 link @ 250 ish, i shouldn't have to consider ether option owning a Pocket3

Like I said in a general post, if your primary use is for a Webcam.  thank you

Yea, I'm also using it as webcam and creating content for YouTube. All I need is 1080p or 1440p with 60 fps.

Only once the Mimo app noticed me about a new firmware, i canceled it at that time since i was recording a video at that time. I tried reinstall the app, i tried a new phone, tried with mobile data, wifi data, nothing works. Why won't dji make a " Check for update" button? What am i supposed to do now to update firmware of my pocket3 ???

I managed to update the firmware in the end. My Mimo app was the old one, which did not have a " Check for new firmware" button. I installed latest app (2.0) and it comes with a "Check for new firmware" button in the  "About" menu. I have no clue why it would not check it by itself at app startup. But now i got another problem. When i put the phone horizontally on my bike , the Mimo app switches screen almost every second as if i turn the phone ( Zenfone 8) upside down. It did the same with the old app. GoPro app works perfect, Google maps perfect, Mimo turns upside down every second....i guess app gyro sensitivity is way to high, no idea how to fix this. I uploaded a video on youtube about it, but i can't post the link here...why?

This DJI forum seems so anti customer. Here i am asking for help, and i cant even explain my problem. BTW i edited a small clip with Mimo and uploaded it within the app, and now i cant even see that clip, or where i did upload that. This app is weird.

in patch note "ActiveTrack and recording with DJI Mic 2 are also available when livestreaming" Does this mean that the active track can be activated with remote control using DJI mic2? I confirmed that recording is possible through the link button, but I don't know how to operate active track. If this feature is not available, it would be nice to add the ability to activate active track through the microphone in the next update.  

For example, it would be nice to be able to specify the dji mic2 button operation through settings, allowing you to select active track activation or recording, mic mute etc. I am broadcasting live by connecting a webcam to OBS, but it is very difficult to access the camera and reactivate it every time the active track loses focus.


In addition, when connecting to a webcam, it would be nice to consider supporting control PC software like other PTZ webcams.

Please DJI remove this disaster firmware from the Osmo Pocket 3. I did a firmware upgrade. And now I have the following disastrous feature on my beloved Osmo P3: "Added cancel recording function. Users can press and hold the Shutter/Record button to cancel during recording. The footage will not be stored after cancelling....A disaster feature. Last weekend I lost several important video recordings because I pressed the red record button too long. Who comes up with something like that? To me, this makes the Osmo P3 an unreliable camera (you're kind of playing roulette with your recordings). Proposal: a) remove this feature via a firmware update; b) make the feature optional c) make the "press and Hold function" only work after 4 seconds.

Could you try the steps below and if issue still perssist after this troubleshooting steps, kindly provide us a video footage for further diagnosis of this issue.

Steps 1 >
camera noise reduction. Turn on the camera’s “High ISO Noise Reduction” and “Long Exposure Noise Reduction”. There are photographers who use both functions.

Steps 2 >
Dark field noise reduction, which is often used in long-exposure fixed noise in starry sky photography. Keep the parameters unchanged, cover the lens cap and take a picture, and you will get a pure black picture with only noise, and then use "Subtract" blending mode.

Two of the OP3’s input the Yolobox via USB, one goes into an HDMI input via an Obsbot UVC to HDMI converter. This is where the problem lies……… I updated 2 of the Osmo Pockets to the new firmware, so I could use them in 4K webcam mode. That works great, however the OP3’s with the new firmware update won’t work with the Obsbot converter, however the OP3 with the older firmware does! So I’m now keeping one of the OP3’s on the older firmware purely because of this. I wondered if this was something you guys might look into please? Thanks!

Pertaining to your situation, we do not recommend using docking stations or other live-streaming expansion kits as adapters for webcam connection. The webcam mode is based on the USB 3.0 UVC protocol and does not require additional drivers. If the USB port of the adapter does not support the UVC protocol or cannot guarantee UVC stability, the webcam may fail to be triggered or may encounter unstable transmission. I hope this helps. Thanks for your response. I was just pointing out that everything works fine with the Osmo Pocket 3 (in webcam mode), with the UVC to HDMI Obsbot converter and Yolobox in the previous firmware version. However, something has changed in the new update, so that it now doesn't work! All I see is an Obsbot logo in the Yolobox viewer. so I just wanted to bring it to your attention. I'm hoping that a future update might resolve this issue. Thanks!
