I do wonder with the some of the bigger YouTube reviewers what they know as they have admitted before getting access to beta firmwares.

No doubt they have to sign some pretty restrictive NDAs.  

Seems that is an issue with Osmo 3, is getting OVERHEAT error in a few minutes after start....

Ive been doing long time and motion lapses with mine and not had any issues with heat.

Nice one DA - Mine arrived last week and I am impressed will do a short video once I have tested it out - thanks for sharing this one cheers Hieth

No probs Hitmax,   will be interesting to see what you think of the DlogM,  ive seen a few reviews suggesting it's no better than the standard footage.

I hope not and I want it to be able to mix with the Mini 4 Pro footage and Action 4 Footage so fingers crossed

Why does the Pocket 3 no longer have the pause function while filming?

Cant say Ive ever wanted to pause a video,  I like to have small clips to make editing easier.

Does new Pocket3 shoot slow motion in verical mode?  I can't figure that out it olways change the screen to horizontal. Thanks a lot

I am experiencing the same overheating issue. I thot it's just me. What a pain since I live far from the only service center of DJI in my country.

I've just tried the Motiolapse mode but I can't focus. If I move my hand closer it remains blurred. In hyperlapse it focuses. Have you tried it and does it work for you?

Je viens s’essayer le mode Motiolapse mais je n’ai pas la mise au point qui se fait. Si j’approche ma main elle reste floue. En hyperlapse la mise au point  s’effectue. Avez-vous essayés et est-ce que ça fonctionne pour vous?

Motion lapse has been fine focusing for me,  what focus mode do you have it set to?

What is the native ISO for the Pocket 3? Does it have a dual ISO, I heard someone suggest it does?

Thanks for sharing this. Interesting to know, though I'm not likely to upgrade from the Pocket 2 and DJI Mic version 1 for a while at least. I am a bit peeved off that some of these properties didn't make it to previous iterations through updates, but I can live with that. For now, my current versions work fine, but if they do break up at some point and I have no Care Refresh left, then I may consider upgrading.

Wise choice H.   If I had the pocket 2 I would not have upgraded,   but Id been holding off purchasing the Pocket 2 for a year knowing this would one day come.

That is pretty much like my situation with the original Osmo Pocket and Pocket 2, the original was tempting but I decided to go for the newer one as it was just released then. While I do think the original one wouldn't have been a bad choice either, I do think I got more bang for the buck when I chose the Pocket 2.

I have been happy with it so far, after the initial infuriating activation hassle. But after that, has worked fine.

Ive never had a problem with activating products but then I have an iPhone and they seem to be pretty well supported.

Glad to hear that hasn't caused you any trouble. It does seem Apple devices have a better support, possibly because there is much less variance on the setups and specifications between Apple's different models versus all the Android devices manufactured by all of the numerous companies.

I do prefer ready-to-use-out-of-the-box items when available, and am somewhat wary about the Internet-of-things technology, often it means artificially-added planned obsolence that makes the tech items just expensive paperweights when the manufacturer decides to pull the plug on servers to sell more. That is not a an ecologically sustainable approach to things, and likely also causes more costs to the end user. At least the Pocket 2 can be used completely offline after the activation, that is a quantum of solace in that.

I don't have a pocket but have the mimo and cannot get help on this topic. My smart phone goes to 100x zoom but on the mimo it will only go to 7x. Anyway to change this?

Maybe it's just the UK but Ive never really seen a sale price from DJI that tempts me to buy the old model.

In the last sale they had 200 off the avata which I quite fancy but even thats not enough to buy one when its due to be replaced and with something that should be more compliant with the rules etc.

True. In the case of the Mini 3 Pro, I don't mind. The upgrades were minimal.

True,   I was very up for upgrading to the Mini 4 until the specs came out and they were very disappointing.
