Does the M4P have the same issues or has this been fixed?

What I have done with the M3P is to take two zenith shots manually before or after the auto pano sequence.
I switch to portrait mode and tilt the gimbal fully up (+60deg). I take the two shots at 90deg yaw from each other. That covers the zenith.
You can take all the pano shots manually, which gives the options of using AEB or 48MP (not both) but it's a slow job.
I find that the DNG still give a nasty vignette in PTGui, but converting to Tiff pre-stitch fixes that.

thanks for confirming, hence I've written this post. I know how to manually work around this problem, but ultimately it's up to Dji to fix this.
Promise was it shoots '360 sphere' not '360 minus 2 images hole'. We had one update where a few images got added, but not enough (..huh?)
Having content aware fill isn't gonna do it in complex environments (bridge inspections, warehouses,..)
Also, lens profile should be embedded in the DNG this has been done before but omitted/ forgotten about here. Extremely annoying since the fixed lens is sub-optimal and needs a lot of corrections.

Quite a lot of broken twigs on the zenith, but I suppose I need to find trees that are very high.

Correct. The JPEG output is corrected for light falloff, edge distortion, colour shift (magenta/green(, focus, light falloff.. Usually that data is contained in the RAW as a setting for software to apply corrections. Not here. Missing.
The other 2 missing images are just content aware-ish filled. You'll see it doesn't work in complex scenes.
Hence I want this fixed, please

The auto stitched jpeg has no zenith gap.
But examples I have seen where the zenith is something other than sky look broken.
Also I find the auto stitiching does a poor job with misalignments appearing on horizons too.
The RAW images, when loaded in stitiching software still has a gap, as if the photos are still not covering the zenith, although the camera is capable of doing so.
Hence I will take extra shots manually.
This could be fixed with a software update, but hasn't been, or not properly.

so I figure there is still no improvement in this area, hence no further updates. What a shame, I was considering upgrading my M3P to the 4, but not if I have same issues (waypoints are a tease though I must admit!)
