What I have done with the M3P is to take two zenith shots manually before or after the auto pano sequence.
I switch to portrait mode and tilt the gimbal fully up (+60deg). I take the two shots at 90deg yaw from each other. That covers the zenith.
You can take all the pano shots manually, which gives the options of using AEB or 48MP (not both) but it's a slow job.
thanks for confirming, hence I've written this post. I know how to manually work around this problem, but ultimately it's up to Dji to fix this.
Promise was it shoots '360 sphere' not '360 minus 2 images hole'. We had one update where a few images got added, but not enough (..huh?)
Having content aware fill isn't gonna do it in complex environments (bridge inspections, warehouses,..)
Also, lens profile should be embedded in the DNG this has been done before but omitted/ forgotten about here. Extremely annoying since the fixed lens is sub-optimal and needs a lot of corrections.
