Number 3 is crippling the town as they closed the main road to the island and the diversion is horrible.

Must have been an emergent situation to close off a main road like that.  Hopefully, it will not be blocked off for too long.

No it was planned for some time,   there are repairs to the road/bridge scheduled.     Ive made some footage for IG of it as it seemed topical for the locals.

Yes, I saw the shots you posted on this forum this AM.  Still not sure what the work is that they are doing but must be super important to block off a main artery road.

It's the expansion joint between the road and the bridge that they are replacing.

That's a really big expansion joint.  Must be quite a bit of movement to need one that wide.

Wow, that is really early.  Sunset here is around 6:40 PM now.  We don't switch time until Nov. 5th.

Has you worked out the perfect shutter speed for shooting film at night?  I found turning the auto white balance off helps a little too. night filming  is still a learning process for me.

There are only two roads that are passable on to the island and there has been calls for years to build a third access road due to the delays any little issue causes.

Unless it is cost prohibitive that is a great idea.  Would be nice to have the additional alternative way on/off the island.
