Effective.  I haven't seen the moon in a while

Nice shot of the moon.  

I've got to go back and re-read the User Manual as i can't seem to find a zoom function in any of the lapses.  Zoom works great in photos.

It handles the darkness well.

We just got a yellow warning for the storm to hit us on Thursday,   seems a bit early for the warning with their track record.

Even so long after the Michael Fish incident, I reckon they're still scared of failing to warn.

Ive not found it makes much difference in my first test with it.  And Ive yet to check the manual too

I do wish they would wait a bit though,   a Saturday alert for something on Thursday seems a bit extreme.

Especially as, with each passing day, they often move the goalposts.

Yes,  we had a yellow alert for rain yesterday that got canceled half way through the alert period.

I re-read the manual once over again and found a few things I missed the first time through.  I just need to keep using it often each day so I kind get use to the interface and find things easier.  I was going to film some of my woodworking going on but then thought about all the sawdust in the air and decided it wouldn't be good to get it in the gimbal motors.  I have a dust collector running but still small particles tend to float around.

It was very helpful for the Mic 2 set up. I try to read first and then try out settings but I know a lot of people just dive right in and figure out various settings that way.

I went looking for the manual and found there is a dlogm lut on the same page so thats something else to check out.

No Probs,  I want to do some tests with it as some of the reviews Ive seen have said its not better than the native footage,   even original dodo wasnt for it which us unusual as he'd love to sell you a lut.

That doesn't bode well for the LUT then.  I pre-ordered a Freewell VND Filter for the Air 3 from B&H PhotoVideo website but have no idea when it will be released. Strangely enough it doesn't show on the Freewell website which has me concerned.  

That is one thing I want to try with the P2 one day.

The night mode on the OP3 is a standalone feature it's not available in Timelapse mode so you may get similar results.

But with long shutterspeeds, you should achieve the same right?
I usually set  the P2 on manual for timelapses

I think the low light mode does something with the dual ISO sensor which Im not sure there is manual control for.

Oh that is a thing to keep in mind.
That is too short for me.

AFAIK 1 second is the max in all modes.  theres been quite some complaints about that.

They probably have some way to monitor the usage of the device, so I think they know.
But I'd love to go down to 5s or so.
