Wow, what an amazing collection of ship shots.      I see that the first ship has 2 of your favorite style life boats onboard.  

No doubt you had a busy day at the waterfront.  

Those slim and high bridge contraptions look rather interesting.

Cheers DT.   We didnt spend that long down there,  only about an hour partly due to the Turkish soup that was waiting at home that Id made and the weather turning nasty.  You can get an idea of that in the last two shots.

Yes,    picked up other of nowhere,   I got the drone back to land and the tried to fly along the footpath low under the seawall height but it didnt really help.

My issue is that you cant use sports mode in strong wind for more power like you can with the Mavics.

Not really the EU fault,  its the design of the battery in the Mini series cant produce the current for long periods of time.    With no wind in sports mode you can do 36mph no issues,  but into wind there isn't enough current available so the drone throttles itself back to <5 mph.

Ok. I thought it was not allowed to produce more than xx amount of power, but I could be wrong about that.

There are limits for speed and impact energy for C and N modes. but in sports mode the amount of power the battery can provide is not enough to fight the wind like the larger drones so it performs better in N mode.

So they just made sure they did not go over that in 'no wind conditions' and designed the drone for that. So that means that with the wind, there is just not enough power.

Indeed,  and in some of the firmware versions the drone would report battery overload and in others they took away the message.

Ok, a bit like the overheating thing. Which is not overheating, but reaching a threshold that the EU does not allow to be passed.

I think this is more for safety rather than EU regs,  which you can fix with a txt file.
