Emmz II, at least Im told the boat will be renamed.

So the Lady has been replaced,  and I managed to grab a couple of shots of the replacement.    Sadly I was flying on fumes so couldnt hang around over the water very long.

Apparently the old Emmz was sold and this is the replacement with a bigger deck.   Although Im not sure if the price I was told for the sale was true.

Great shots DA.    She's quite different from the original Emmz but no doubt designed for a different purpose in mind.

Yeah, a shakedown cruise or two, a little tweaking and then yeah, ready for passengers.

I think thats whats happening for sure,  he even reversed into his berth which is unusual.

I was just trying to setup the pocket to Timelapse the storm but without any zoom I cant get a clear shot out of the window or cat flap,  obviously I cant out it outsider incase it rains.

Yeah, without waterproofing that would be an instant disaster for the OP3.

I just went back to the spec and theres no IP rating that I can see whatsoever.

Yes, that is the first thing I looked for when the official specs were released.  Got to go to the OA4 for waterproofing or diving it looks like.

I just thought they might have some sort of rating for dust or water.

I wish they did.  I noticed in the User manual where they warn to not use the OP3 around sand.  I guess the gimbal motors are somewhat fragile and susceptible to sand damage.

No mention of the moon symbol anywhere in the User Manual.  I finally did figure out what the rectangle with a line through it was.  Horizontal or Vertical lock indicator.

I’ve looked twice and couldn’t find it.  And pressing it doesn’t seem to change anything.  


Yes the lined rectangle is a cracker that got me for a bit.

I contacted DJI Support and they had no idea.  They recommended that I make a video showing it on the screen and then send them a link to it so they can ask an engineer.
