A wild morning.....


Took a windy flight this morning to grab a long exposure shot pre sunrise,   sadly storm Ciaran is making flying now a tad tricky.

Wow, what a gloomy start to the day.  Storm Ciarán appears to be upon you already. I saw this metro warning on the news this morning.

Met Office Chief Meteorologist Dan Suri, said “Ahead of Storm Ciarán, a squally cold front will move eastwards across southern and southeast England bringing bursts of heavy rain and coastal gusts of 60-70mph which will last through Friday."

Looks like you are in for a couple of no fly days for sure.

Yeah, time to batten down the hatches and make sure you don't have anything in the yard that can fly off or go through a window.

I might have to brave it and take down the hanging baskets of flowers I just put back up.

Depends on how heavy the basket is and how strong the wind gusts will get.

Wind has been heavy overnight here,  some of the garden furniture is now strewn about the place and it's been solid rain all night,  so dark here at the moment.   I missed getting out this morning.

Just watching a live weather report from Bude, and Brighton.
Bude was really copping it, and the guy down at Brighton pier was saying it's on its way.
So I'd be careful if I were you

They just issued a new yellow wind warning for here but it starts at 9pm.
