5 Drone Winter Flying Tips

Nice find DA.    Great information about flying in cold temps.  Fortunately, I will only need to apply this information if I travel way north from southern Florida.  Still, good information to know.

Great pointers!!  It's getting cold here Fast.
But a very quick correction. Cold air is MORE dense not less and easier to fly in... ie more lift. (Pilot)

Great tips for around where I live.

Very cool, because not everyone will work in such weather conditions, especially since it is not uncommon to shoot in these conditions. But I can tell you from my own experience that it's pretty cool when there is a large area that is not occupied by people, and it's a pleasure to work there. Recently, I made some really cool horses running images https://depositphotos.com/photos/horses-running.html, which are just incredible feelings and impressions. The work brought me a lot of pleasure, and I was especially happy with the customer, who also liked everything. It was very pleasant to work even despite the cold.
                 
                 

Good tips.Nev3r thought about the condensation. I always thought that keeping it in a case would slow down and minimize condensation

Assuming you are keeping the radar indicator green when you are flying and there are no objects between you and the drone then I would say you have a faulty one and you should return it to the shop for a replacement.    Mini 3 and Mini 4 will happily fly a very long way without issue.

And if there is no GPS signal it refuses to take off, since there are no instructions i will have to do some research on this radar you speak of. i tried flying it next to me to go check the mail, halfway down the driveway it refused to go any further. Would this have anything to do with the fact it has propguards on it?

The radar view is in the bottom left corner and looks like this,     prop guards should not be used outdoors,  they are not safe.

Keep the batteries in the warm and avoid fog and it’s pretty safe.
