Wow, that's intriguing!
I'm always curious about who's gonna step up and clear out these concrete sleepers and bring back that original vibe... or maybe even construct something super cool in their spot.

The council there has setup a group to try and get it restored/rebuilt so it will be interesting to see what they do with it.

Another cool one.

Very interesting 360 DA.    Appears the island has experienced a few devastating events.  I read where it had a massive fire and then during WW II a friendly plane dropped a dummy bomb on it.  Not only does the pier need to be saved and restored bu also the entire island.  

Great pano. A pity the weather was so awful.  That place is absolutely devastated isn't it.

There was a sign up about a working group thats been setup by the council to work on a plan to restore/re-open it.

Very long term,  I dont think they have any funding yet to actually do anything.

PS.   I found out today Ive been accepted as part of the second exhibition I submitted for appraisal to,   IO found out as they did a feature on me on IG.  Apparently Im a "Phenomenal Photographer".  Gave the old ego a little boost.

lol,   the second gallery is quite a local thing,  I was telling the neighbour about it and it turns out she knows the organiser as thats where she goes to practice for the brass band she is in. The first one is in a much bigger gallery in the city which people appear to travel some distance to visit.
