Note, once you click LAND you stick your hand under the hovering in front of your face drone and hold the LEFT STICK of the RC Controller DOWN until drone lands and motors shut off! Hope that helps?

The flip technique shown is this video is the way to go.

I hand catch and then flip the drone over.

I believe the flip to stop props puts undue stress on the motors? Maybe DJI can comment if they monitor this chat? I hold my hand under the drone, when pulling down the left RC Controller stick. This causes my Mini 3 Pro to rise some thanks to bottom sensors, but because I am still holding the stick down to reduce altitude, ie. land, the sensors see my hand and land on it. THEN I RELEASE THE STICK and the props STOP without any undue stress.
