Mini 3 with a long exoposure gets some interesting results.  Sadly I didnt manage to match the cars speed better.

That's your second long exposure shot this morning that created some weird effects.  Was that caused by the mismatch in the drone and cars speeds or just some other anomaly?

Thats right,  if the drone and car had matched speed the car should be sharp but the road a blur.

So the darn car must have stepped on the gas pedal and tried to leave the drone behind, otherwise would have been a really cool capture.

Possibly the opposite,   we were just approaching a tight left bend in the road where there is a pot hole.

Sometimes the science isn't there for a clear shot no matter what you so. The drone is raising ISO, lowering shutter speed and aperture, which means grainy shots, low depth of field and motion blur. Not the easiest shot to get.

Trying to match the car's speed was probably impossible.

Maybe with some planning it would have been doable,  but this was a spur of the moment idea.
