Using that iPad Pro with a 12 inch screen really makes it easier to see the flight in progress and nice for a 2nd viewer to see vice trying to peek over your should to see the small RC or RC2 screen.  At a family gathering I did hook my RC Pro up to a 32 inch TV so some of the relatives could watch.  That only worked as I had electrical power available.  I have used my Tripltek 9 pro tablet as a second screen on the RC Pro and that worked out great also.

I like how he mounted it on the tripod,   Ive flown Mavic 2 with the iPad before and it got heavy fast.

Mounting on the tripod was a great idea.  Just using the RC Pro for a full flight of the Air 2S and it gets really heavy towards the end.  This is why I bought a neckstrap to help give it a little support and take some weight off the arms and hands.

I tried that too with the iPad and it was still vey heavy after a while.

If I fly back to back and use the RC Pro first then the RC or RC2 they both feel feather light at that point.
