Sounds like an exotic trip. Will you sail down?  l see it's about 100 miles or so off Miami.

I'm still up in the air on weather to fly down or to take my mini-yacht down.  I'm still waiting on a response to a couple of inquiries I made.  Seems the military in that area conducts sensitive tests on submarines and they are really "touchy" on who is allowed in that area.  They are almost as bad as the FAA when it comes to diving in an area just outside their restricted waters.  If it becomes impossible I may just change destinations and go to Aruba instead.  Weather has been great there and diving is really good in that locale.

It certainly is.  However, it is much warmer there and still plenty of interesting places to make bubbles.  They also have some nice restaurants and the night life is not bad either.

I've been there before and it is a really nice place to go.  Locals are friendly towards tourists and the food is excellent albeit a bit pricey depending on what you order.

You wouldn't have to look hard to find a McDonalds in Aruba.  I know of at least one in Oranjestad.  They have several American restaurants there....TGI Fridays, Hooters, Pizza Hut, Ruth's Chris Steak House, etc.

First half was great.
Had a nice gourmet party with SWMBO's part of the fam. (20 people).
I brought the meat from the company I work with, so that was super good.
And a lot of fun.
I did do some DIY, but not too much. Applied some primer to the underside of all the windows, so they can dry for 48h and I can continue next Wednesday with sanding and the second coat. Otherwise I can't do much Wednesday and I do want to push on a bit.
Not my first choice, but it was less than 1h and the kids were entertained so I did what I felt was needed.

It's outside paint, but I'm painting inside.
The windows are laying in the living room.
Just sanded the whole lot, cleaned it and gave the vertical parts their second coat.

Ah yes.
And this is definitely a factor I'm considering. But I can't do much about it, other than keep the vents wide open.
With the recent winds, the air was almost constantly moving through the room, so that was a good thing.
I have 2 large gaps underneath 2 of the sheets of OSB of around 1m x 5cm. So that allows for a lot of air flow, plus some gaps near the other sheets and 2 window vents of (about) 1m in total.
That's all I could do.

You could try a mask if it smells strong.

I need to order a new one,  the internal plastic on my 3M 6002C has broken last time I used it,    will get the same again as I have loads of filters for it.

I have the same one.
I don't like the straps,  but I don't have hair to dampen them, so that is why.
Other than that, its quite good.
I'll be using it soon.
