Sad to hear that.  Maybe a Mini 4 Ultra will come along then and you can pull the trigger on that.

Thats my hope.   Mini 4 with a better camera is all I need,   although more robust air frame would be nice too.

Isn't that the truth.  The legs on the Mini 3 Pro tend to feel a bit weak after being folded so many times.

Someone pointed me at a repair guide for it,  looks easy enough if you can find the parts at a good price.

I found many spare parts for the original Mini on Alliexpress but haven't looked for Mini 3 Pro yet.

I've found them but they cost the same as sending the drone to DJI and getting a new one back.

So much better to go the DJI route then.  I've heard their repair fees are most reasonable.  

While the compression may have left the image quality less-that-perfect, I have to say I am pretty amazed about the low-light performance of the Pocket 3. Were I to immediately upgrade from the Pocket 2, that would probably be one of the biggest factors in that decision.

Fun Clip.5X would be perfect.

I've only used DJI Repair once but it turned out they covered the repairs so I wasn't charged anything.

Ive used them twice for paid repairs,   once for the mini 2 gimbal I broke and then for the arms on the. Mini 3 and they were very very reasonable and I got some weird discounts.

I've seen that also on Reddit forum about how reasonable DJI repairs can be.  Was your bill most labor or more for parts?  I'm guessing it was labor.

It was parts and labour and then a discount that was more than the labour part.  I have no idea why I got the discount.

That also could be a reason.  At least it worked out really well for you no matter what the reason.  

Nice experiment. I wonder if you could make it so that it would add motion blur.

Probably at this time of day manual exposure and a low ISO would probably get you there.
