A very cool place I've never been to. Like the little bridge. No sight in sight so I won't be able to get this. Where's Mr. B anyway?

Beautiful Pano, immediately recognisable as a view up Port Gavern Bay near Port Isaac.  Viewpoint just south of Castle Rock.

It's been really nice weather here the last couple of days so I've been out hiking and droning.

Just going to take a shot and ask if it is Port Isaac.

You are really really close. The land to the right if the bay is port Isaac but this bay is as Mr B says is gavern.

That was another really windy day too. I was surprised it worked that well. And the water colour,    I can see why people like to swim there.

The tip I was told for Lands End was to park at Sennen, and walk the coastal path up to lands end.    Then you get the views and access to a shipwreck weather permitting.

It began to drizzle while I was out, but I stuck it out long enough to wait and see them pass. And it stopped again soon after, so I didn't get a wetting.

I can put up with intermittent drizzle - except for not being able to fly the drones.

Perhaps that needs to be go on thE Mini 5 wish list,  some form of IPXXX rating.

Doesnt even need to be waterproof,  splash proof would be an improvement,   but at least a documented rating would be a start.

No splashes here at the moment. The gusty winds have blown the overnight rain away and rent the clouds apart here and there.

We were woken by the rain at 4am,  and its taken us 1 1/2 hours to get to the MIL when it usually takes 35 minutes.

Good grief. Nightmare journey.  Rain (and bladder) woke me at 04h00 too. Couldn't get back to sleep so got up at 05h30 to lashing rain and high winds. Quite sunny now but still windy.

Sounds like we’ve got the same.     Popped over to Tiptree where the ham is from and it’s sunny but blowing.

Mrs'B was up at 06h30 to go to the gym at 07h00 as usual.
Took one look at the weather and dived straight back in bed.
